Raystown Area Discgolf (RAD) is an association of disc golfers dedicated to the improvement of disc golf in the Raystown Lake Region!
Since 2023, Friends of Raystown Lake has partnered with RAD to co-host various disc golf tournaments on the Seven Points Disc Golf Courses. This collaboration aims to promote outdoor recreation at Raystown Lake. Tournaments include the Raystown Open (held in the spring), the MVP Circuit Challenge (held in the summer), the Space Race (held in the fall), and more. Funds raised by this partnership are used to improve the courses, install solar lights on Pine 9, and purchase permanent course signage.
Beginning just south of the Raystown Lake Visitor Center, this course is a great learning experience for new players, or a warm up for more experienced disc golfers. It makes a small loop around the Pine Shelter and finishes back at the beginning of the course.
Starting behind the Mountain Bike Skills Park across the road from the Visitors Center, this course is pathed through the woods for more of a challenge and some time in nature. Hole 18 finishes the course directly behind the Visitor Center.
18 hole course that runs through Susquehannock Campground, located near Seven Points Recreation Area. This course is technical, with tons of lake views and some water hazards. The course uses the beautifully re-done tiered campsites throughout the campground to make for some challenging greens and unique holes.
18 hole temporary course inside Seven Points Day Use Area that uses areas such as Oak Peninsula, the Seven Points Beach and much of the surrounding area
