Since 2002, the Friends of Raystown Lake have been responsible for the red, green, and white navigation lights on the shoreline of Raystown Lake. Situated on the peninsulas of the lake, the lights serve as essential aids to navigating the meandering, serpentine topography of the lake, thus improving the safety of all nighttime boaters.
However, maintaining and upgrading navigation lights comes with significant costs. From installation expenses to ongoing maintenance and upgrading to eco-friendly, energy-efficient lighting solutions, the financial burden can be overwhelming.
Your support, no matter the size, will help us sustain and improve this vital program, ensuring the safety of all boaters navigating Raystown Lake.
